Kevin Koosup Yum defended his PhD thesis on August 24th 2017

Thesis title: Transient Performance and Emissions of a Turbocharged Diesel Engine for Marine Power Plants. Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Marine Technology.

Kevin defended his PhD thesis entitled "Transient Performance and Emissions of a Turbocharged Diesel Engine for Marine Power Plants", on 24 August. On the day, he gave a trial lecture about "Environmental Challenges and Options for Deep-sea Shipping" and presented his thesis afterward.

Professor Martti Larmi (Alto University), Geir Hovland (Agder University) and Sergey Ushakov (NTNU) were appointed by the Faculty of Engineering as evaluation committee for the thesis and approved both the trial lecture and the thesis.

Associate Professor Eilif Pedersen has been his main supervisor, and Professor Asgeir J. Sørensen and Professor Roger Skjetne have been the co-supervisors.
