Prof. Strømman among the main authors of the IPCC's Sixth Assessment Report

Prof. Anders H. Strømman, Director of Industrial Ecology Programme at NTNU, has be designated as one of the authors of the IPCC's Sixth Assessment Report, due to be completed in 2022. 19 Norwegian researcher will contribute to the report. See the complete list of authors.

 

As part of the working group III - dealing with mitigation of climate change and emission reduction, Prof. Strømman will be main author of Chapter 10. Transport. For more detail, see

About IPCC

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change. It was established by the United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 1988 to provide policymakers with regular scientific assessments concerning climate change, its implications and risks, as well as to put forward adaptation and mitigation strategies. It has 195 member states.
