Network Meeting BERGEN 4-5 April

Thank you to all participants for their engagement and active contribution to the discussion. Presentations and summary of discussion are available on Smart Maritime website (requires login). The meeting summary also includes a review of partners feedback and actions points to respond to partners' recommendations. The management team is in the process of collecting additional suggestions for new research topics. By the end of April, a list of concrete SFI activities and new project initiatives will be set up and industry partners will be contacted for further involvement.

IPCC's 6th Assessment Report: Prof. Strømman on the list of authors

Prof. Anders H. Strømman, Director of Industrial Ecology Programme at NTNU, has be designated as one of the authors of the IPPP's Sixth Assessment Report, due to be completed in 2022. Read more

 

UPCOMING EVENTS

SFI FORUM

The yearly SFI Forum will take place on April 17-18th in Lysaker, hosted by the Norwegian Research Council. The main focus will be on the Midway Evaluation of Centres for Research-based Innovation (SFI-III). The outcome of this evaluation, expected in 2019, will determine the funding of the a final three year period of our SFI. More information on the process and necessary preparation will follow.

Ocean Week 

Smart Maritime will be present at the annual Ocean Week conference on May 7-9th 2018 in Trondheim
