The webinar will be led by Benjamin Lagemann, NTNU, and present recent research on alternative fuels. That includes:
- results from a survey on Ship Fuel Selection among SFI Smart Maritime participants, carried out by NTNU MSc student Dorthe Alida Slotvik, as part of her Master Thesis on the topic of implementation of alternative fuels.
- recent development of a stochastic model to account for uncertainty in fuel and carbon prices, led by Benjamin Lagemann, PhD student at NTNU, as part of his Smart Maritime PhD project in Smart Maritime
- findings from a collaboration with DTU Technical University of Denmark, on marked-based measures and their impact on alternative fuels.
