Intensive two days in Trondheim where the SFI Smart Maritime team gathered together at the bi-annual network meeting.
The research team provided an overview of the main achievements and work done so far at the Centre, including outcomes of field work and model development carried out these past 6 months with active involvement of Smart Maritime's industry partners. Discussions on further work and new activities for 2017 were organised in separate workshops. The strong engagement from participants lead to long list of desired activities, and testifies of the crucial role Smart Maritime have in helping the maritime sector to cope with challenges of cost efficiency, energy efficiency and emission reduction.
