Torstein Ingebrigtsen Bø - Trial lecture and defense of thesis

Torstein Ingebrigtsen Bø has submitted his thesis entitled: “Scenario- and Optimization-Based Control of Marine Electric Power Systems” in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of PhD in Engineering Cybernetics at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, NTNU

 

Torstein Ingebrigtsen Bø has submitted his thesis entitled: “Scenario- and Optimization-Based Control of Marine Electric Power Systems” in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of PhD in Engineering Cybernetics at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, NTNU

The following committee has been appointed to evaluate his thesis, trial lecture and defence:
■Professor John Bagterp Jørgensen, Technical University of Denmark
■Dr. ing Jan-Fredrik Hansen, ABB Marine, Billingstad
■Professor Lars Struen Imsland,Department of Engineering Cybernetics

Professor Lars Struen Imsland, Department of Engineering Cybernetics, NTNU, is appointed as the administrator for the assessment commitee.

The trial lecture will take place in Totalrommet, Main Building, NTNU, 7 March from 10:15 on the following given topic:

“Give an overview and assess the potential of DC distribution in electric power plants on ships and vessels”

The defence will take place in Totalrommet, Main Building, NTNU, 7 March from 13:15.
The trial lecture and defence are public and anyone interested is invited to attend.

Torsein Ingebrigtsen Bø carried out his PhD work at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics.
His main supervisor has been Professor Tor Arne Johansen. Professor Roger Skjetne and Professor Asgeir Johan Sørensen have been his co-supervisors.
